Pricing questions
Do I need a credit card to start?
No. Your 45-day trial starts the moment you confirm your email — no payment details required.
What happens at the end of the trial?
You choose a plan to keep full access, or your account reverts to read-only. Your data stays exportable for 30 days either way.
Can I switch between monthly and annual billing?
Yes. You can switch at any time from your account settings. Switching to annual takes effect immediately; switching to monthly takes effect at the next renewal.
What's the difference between Pro and Pro+?
Pro includes every feature — forecast, multi-currency, scenarios, budget tracking, CSV import, analytics, and email support. Pro+ adds automatic bank import (Plaid / GoCardless / TrueLayer), which is currently in development and will launch in the coming months.
When will bank import be available?
Bank import (Pro+) is actively in development. We expect to launch it in the coming months. Sign up for Pro now and you will be notified when Pro+ becomes available.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes. Cancel from Settings at any time. Your subscription runs until the end of the current billing period and you keep full access until then.
Do you offer refunds?
Yes — 14-day no-questions refund on your first payment. Email support@outbudget.com within 14 days of being charged for the first time.
Is my financial data safe?
Yes. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest, hosted on Supabase with row-level security. We never sell or share your data. See the Security page for the full breakdown.
